Amazon compliance support
Amazon doesn't send a warning letter. Listings get suppressed, stock becomes unsellable, and most brands find out from their sales figures.
How we approach it
Product and packaging requirements have moved considerably over the last two years, and they continue to move. The obligations depend on your category, where you sell, and whether you import — which means generic advice is close to useless and most brands are left to work it out alone.
We keep a standing view of what applies to your products, tell you where the gaps are, and make sure the records exist before anyone asks for them. Where something needs your manufacturer or a specialist, we say so rather than pretending it's within our remit.
Who this suits: Brands importing their own products, brands selling into more than one market, and anyone who has had a listing taken down without a clear explanation.
What's included
- — A review of what current requirements mean for your specific categories
- — Gaps identified, with a clear plan and order of priority for closing them
- — Listing-level details checked against what's expected
- — Records organised so you can respond quickly if Amazon asks
- — Changes monitored, so new obligations don't arrive as a surprise
- — Suppressed listings dealt with where compliance is the cause
Questions
Compliance, asked and answered
Is this legal advice?
No, and we're careful about that line. We check what Amazon requires, what your records show, and where the gaps are, then tell you what needs doing and who does it. Some of it needs your manufacturer or a compliance specialist, and we'll say so plainly.
We buy from a UK distributor. Does this still apply?
Some of it, and usually less than if you import directly — much of the burden sits with whoever first placed the product on the market. It's worth confirming rather than assuming, because the answer changes what you need to hold.
A listing has been suppressed. Can you help?
Yes. The first job is working out which requirement triggered it, because the appeal has to address that specific point. Vague appeals get rejected and each rejection makes the next attempt harder.
